Fleet Controller
Job Description
Your will be managing the daily logistical operations, maintenance, and compliance of our vehicle fleet.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage daily fleet operations, routes, fuel, and productivity
2. Allocate driver tasks and monitor deliveries and performance
3. Oversee maintenance, services, and vehicle compliance
4. Manage a fleet of 15–25 side tipper trucks
5. Enforce driver discipline, safety, and regulatory compliance
6. Investigate incidents and manage fleet via the TMS system
Qualifications & Requirements
Key Requirements:
1. Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
2. Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Fleet Controller in transport/logistics
3. Computer proficient with fleet tracking system experience
4. Strong knowledge of transport operations and route planning
5. Familiar with telematics systems (e.g. Mix Telematics or similar)
